Center Parking Structure - Santa Monica, California The Santa Monica Parking Structure is a one-of-a-kind structure that is aligned to the principles of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) a Green Building Rating System. ARB is proud to take this important leadership role in redefining not just what a parking structure can look like, but also how well it can perform. Beauty, functionality and economy come together in one of the first ecologically friendly parking structures. Completion in March 2007, adding 890 parking spaces, standing six-stories tall, the structure was planned to save energy by means of a unique fabrication that utilizes a canopy of glass and photovoltaic solar panels to generate over 30% of the building’s power. |
